While the Summer Games Fest is in full swing, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Insomaniac Games have decided to make an announcement around Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. No, no single-player DLC coming, but new costumes for Peter and Miles which will be offered free of charge to players. No fewer than 8 outfits have been announced and created in partnership with artists like Colm Dillane (aka KidSuper), Vini Jr, Lando Norris and Rina Sawayama. And the least we can say is that the inspiration was there. KidSuper fashioned the down jacket suit with purple accent, while soccer player Vini Jr. proposed a design reminiscent of Brazil with a mesh of colors specific to the Brazilian flag.
Lando Norris, the driver himself, proposed an assertive design close to his motorsport with this full-face helmet and a suit that reflects speed. Rina Sawayama also participated by proposing the Motorchic costume, which allows Peter Parker to stand out with the black & gold duo. And finally, know that the rest of the costumes come from the Spider-Man 1 games and the “Miles Morales” DLC. To begin with, there is the Last Stand costume which was highly requested by fans of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse suit, just like the animated Miles Morales costume in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 , and finally the Uptown Pride costume, also intended for Miles Morales.
