Ken Amlin, Director and Producer with Kra Productions Inc., and his Team Were in Chatham Saturday at the Adelaide Street North Home of David and Kim Chinnick for the First Day of the New Film Production Strange Tales of the South Shore.
He Said the Series Was Borne of the Team’s Love of Horror Movies and Ghost Stories.
“We highlight local Urban Legends,” Amlin Said. “There’s so many interests in this region of Ghost Stories, of Hauned Areas, of possessions, and these are stories if we do not make them they get lost to the years.”
While Many Stories Have Been Told Over the Years, Including in Books, Amlin Said A Lot of these Stories Haven’t Been Told in a Modern Way “and certainly not put to film.
He Added the Team is excited to Take Both Well-Known and Lesser Known Stories “and make themmatic for a new audience.”

When She Took A Look at the Plate Recently Knowning the Film Crew Would Be Coming To Her Home, She Found the Plate Had Been Broken Again Into Another Piece, Which Can’t Be Explained.

He Said Strange Tales of the South Shore is split between an original narrative film that’s been scripted with actors portraying the original story based on the urban legend.

He added the show also Documents and interviews people to share their real experience with these urban legends, “Trying to get to the core of why are People interestd in this? How did this urban legend come about? ”

Amblin Said Episodes Are also Planned to Tell the Stories of the Baldoon Mystery in Wallaceburg, Regarding Paranormal Incidents with Scottish Settlers More than 200 Years AGO.
He Said the other Two Episodes Will Feature Two Amhertsburg Urban Legends, Including the Strange Occurrences that Have Havened on Texas Road, which Many Believe is Hauned.
The Story is about the Boblo Magician, about a Magician who Died During His Show at the Form Popular Boblo Island Amusement Park, and Hautéd the Theatre.
Amlin Said the Episodes Are Scheduled to Begin Airing on the Bell Fibe Streaming Service Oct. 1.
In the Meantime, He Said Local Residents Who Have Knowledge of these stories are encouraged to reach out to the production team at [email protected] to share their stories and potentialy be featured in the project.
