According to International Crisis Room 360, a security monitoring company, the Sudanese army has resumed bombings against several positions of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). The paramilitaries had regrouped towards the Jaili oil refinery, north of the capital. They also control the town of Bahri, in its northern suburbs.
According to the Turkish Anadolu agency, the Sudanese army is now stationed north of Bahri, as well as in the arms depots and the military base of Hattab and Kadroo, in the capital. Fighting also increased in violence in Al Jazeera State. In a statement, the Resistance Committee of Wad Madani, its capital, said the army bombed the village of Bika, west of the city, on Sunday.
There are bombings also east ofEl Fasher. For weeks, the army has been trying to repel the RSF offensive on the capital of North Darfur. In a press release published yesterday, the International Organization for Migration explained that fighting resumed on Saturday in the western and southeastern districts of the city. Some 250 families had to flee the violence.
