Animated animations for messaging and the undo command to undelete text are coming to Android phones.
Gboard, which is used by Android phones, adds new features. According to a tweet from @ynnadddanny, animated emoji will be coming to the Google Messages app. At the same time, a flour button is added to Gboard so that we can restore deleted content when we unintentionally delete it or change our mind.
Android Gboard is refreshing
When you look at the video in the tweet, you may realize that adding animated emoji to the message will definitely spice up the messaging and bring a new dimension to the use of emoji.

As Google says, “Messages by Google is the official Google app for messaging over Rich Communication Services (RCS) with fallback to SMS/MMS”. In other words, you will get read receipts, spelling indicators while chatting with another Android user using RCS. If you’re chatting with an Android user or an iPhone user using a non-RCS messaging app, you’ll continue to use the old-fashioned way.
The second feature coming to Android is a new feature coming to the Gboard virtual QWERTY app. A video posted on Telegram shows that Gboard users can “undo” deleted text on Android. Gboard has an “undo” button in the overflow menu. It is not yet clear when this feature will be available to Gboard users. If you don’t have the Gboard app on your Android phone, you can get it from the Google Play Store by clicking this link.
