New father Sebastian Samuelsson is highly praised for the private pictures with the family – the new venture makes all Swedes rejoice

Sebastian Samuelsson has been a father for two months.
Now, for the first time, he shares pictures from the new everyday life in a new venture.
– Many people probably have the image that I like to talk, he says.

Sebastian Samuelsson is one of the world’s best biathletes, but now he finds himself in a different everyday life than he is used to. Not only is it high summer and far from the season, he is also a new father, as his daughter Elsa was born on 11 May.

The new pictures

Two months have passed since then, but Sebastian Samuelsson, who is otherwise active about his training and competition life on social media, has not directly sprinkled pictures about his new family life. But now there are plenty of new pictures of what his life looks like. On Svenskt Skidskytte’s YouTube, Samuelsson will now start vlogging, i.e. sharing his life in video format, and the first episode was released earlier this week.

There you can see Samuelsson in the role of father, but also when he is renovating the house, barbecuing, celebrating Midsummer and of course – working out. And the initiative is highly praised by followers on social media. He now tells Expressen about the new venture.

– It’s fun, but I might feel a little uncomfortable sometimes. Many people probably have the image that I like to talk, but to pick up the camera and start filming…no. I can’t say that they come completely naturally to me, he says.

The promise for the future

Sebastian Samuelsson also talks about the new life with a baby at home, and how the first time was.

– I think I’m quite relaxed. But for the first few weeks, you went to check that she was breathing as soon as there was silence. It is clear that you are worried that something will happen, but it is starting to release more and more. I can imagine that it will get worse when she starts to move a little more, he says.

Sebastian Samuelsson also says that he has great expectations for the future, and that the results can only benefit from having become a father.

– Some biathlon colleagues have said that the first year I will be bad, then it will be tough. Then I become damn dangerous. There are many who have succeeded very well when they became fathers, so why wouldn’t it work for me, he says and continues:

– Now I have been at home the whole time, but it will probably be different when you leave. Then you notice what you are missing. It becomes a security to always have something to come home to and it doesn’t matter as much how you performed on the track.
