The fantasy series Fallen will premiere on Sky in August and brings together all three Young adult phenomena.

Fallen is based on the novel series of the same name written by Lauren Kate, which began in 2009 and has resulted in five sequels and a short story collection. It tells a thrilling love story with a fantasy twist that has found many fans over the past decade.

Love triangle: Fallen unites Harry Potter, Twilight and Maxton Hall in a fantasy series

As in the novel, the Fallen series tells the story of 17-year-old Lucinde Price, nicknamed Luce, who leads an unspectacular life. When she is sent to boarding school after a devastating accident, Sword & Cross she has to put everything she thought she knew about the world to the test.

Luce meets Cam and Daniel, who could hardly be more different. While Cam uses every opportunity to rebel against the rules of the school, Daniel prefers to retreat into his own head. Nevertheless, Luce has a mysterious connection to the two and finds out that they Fallen angel are.

With over eleven million books sold, it is no wonder that Hollywood has also taken notice of the Fallen series. Beginning of the 2010s A first attempt was made to film the story – at that time for the big screen. However, Fallen – Angel Night, released in 2016, turned out to be a major flop.

Eight years later, the remake is being announced in the form of a series, as we recently saw with the Percy Jackson series. After the adventures of the young demigod no longer worked in the cinema, an episodic reboot was brought to domestic screens several years later.

In the new version of Fall, Jessica Alexander (The Little Mermaid) takes on the role of Luce, while Timothy Innes (The Last Kingdom) and Gijs Blom (Letters to the King) can be seen as Cam and Daniel. Alexander Siddig (Deep Space Nine) and Sarah Niles (Ted Lasso) also appear in the series.

New fantasy series: When does Fallen start on Sky?
