New event “Carnival of Love” starts tomorrow – everything about bonuses, content, shinys

The carnival of love starts in Pokémon GO. What does the event bring? You can find all the information here.

When is the event running? The “Carnival of Love” starts on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. It will then run until Thursday, February 15th at 8:00 p.m.

Part of the event revolves around the different versions of the Pokémon “Choreogel”. This bird has different variants that you can collect depending on the region. During the event, you will be able to meet his Shiny form for the first time. Flabébé is also at the center of the event as a Pokémon with regional forms.

Bonuses in the event:

  • On Wednesday, February 14th, the top raids with Cupids will take place. You can find the schedule below.
  • You can change the shape from Coiffwaff to the “heart cut”.
  • There is an increased chance of getting XL Candies while walking with your buddy.
  • You will receive two guaranteed XL candies upon development.
  • You can let your buddy Pokémon compete in showcases.
  • A collector challenge revolves around Roserade, XP and Stardust.
  • In the shop you will find an optional temporary research for one US dollar (probably comparable to euros).

    On February 14th, Valentine’s Day, Pokémon GO will get its “Pokémon of Love.” But this only occurs in difficult top raids that you have to defeat on site. You also have to stick to certain time windows. It appears:

  • Between 12:00 and 1:00 p.m
  • Between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m
  • Between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m
  • Between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m
  • You should check early on when exactly the eggs will appear above the arenas in order to plan your fight.

    If you beat Cupids, you will also receive flying and fairy spawns around the arena for 30 minutes. These include:
