Because the Hogwarts Legacy’s registration system will allow up to four different slots. WB Games confirmed that Hogwarts Legacy will feature multiple character slots, in response to a question posted on Twitter.
The question was forwarded to the company by Matt “whether they will have different save slots if they play on the same PC as their sister”. In the reply, it was stated that there are 4 separate character slots. He also replied by adding, “For each new character, we will have 2 types of save functions and slots: 5 autosave slots and 10 player manual save slots”.
In addition, in another question from the new same user, the player informed the company that he bought Hogwarts Legacy for both PS5 and PC, and whether he could share save files between these two games. In the answer given to him, an answer was given as “You will be able to connect both platforms for rewards in every version of the game, but the saved data will remain on the platform on which it was created”.
Hogwarts Legacy will be released on February 10, 2023 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and April 4, 2023 for PS4 and Xbox One. The Nintendo Switch version is scheduled to be released on July 25, 2023.
