On the other hand, in its statement, the Iran-backed Hezbollah Movement touched upon Israel’s losses in the conflicts in the south of Lebanon.

In the statement, it was noted that Hezbollah members named Hasan Muhammed Ali Saab, Hasan Yusuf Ahmed, Jihad Ahmed Hayek and Vehbi Muhammed İbrahim were killed in the Israeli attack.

The number of Hezbollah members killed in the conflicts with Israel since October 8, 2023 has increased to 346.

On the other hand, according to the official Lebanese agency NNA, the Israeli army hit the areas around the towns of Kfarkilla and Adaysa, located on the border of Lebanon, with phosphorus bombs.

TENSION ON THE BLUE LINE

There has been increasing tension in recent weeks on the border line between Israel and Lebanon, called the “Blue Line”.

Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari reported that “Hezbollah in Lebanon has fired more than 5 thousand rockets, anti-tank bullets and UAVs towards Israel since October 7.”

“Hezbollah’s increasing attacks bring us to the brink of a broader escalation. This is an escalation that could have devastating consequences for Lebanon and the region,” Hagari said. He used the following expressions:

Israel, which has been continuing its attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7, is also fighting with Lebanese Hezbollah on the northern border. It was reported that 341 Hezbollah members, 63 Lebanese civilians, 19 Amal Movement, 13 Hamas, 15 Islamic Jihad members, 14 Israeli soldiers and 10 Israeli civilians died in these clashes.
