“Working life crime is increasing, therefore it is important that we authorities continue to develop our methods to access the rogue companies from several directions,” comments the Swedish Work Environment Agency’s head of unit Anna Nordenmark in a press release.
In addition to the Work Environment Agency, A-crime center brings together several other authorities such as the police, the Tax Agency and the Ecocrime Authority. The idea is to coordinate resources and skills to tackle cheating and exploitation in working life.
There have been A-crime centers in Gothenburg and Umeå since before. A further four centers are to open in other locations during the year.
