The beta for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide already had thousands of players on Steam. Now the game started again at launch with a huge number of players on the platform: around 107,000 players played Darktide at the time of release.
On November 30, 2022, the new part “Darktide” of the fantasy universe “Warhammer” was launched. The game is a gory co-op shooter set in a dark dystopian world.
What is Darktide about? The player acts in the name of the inquisitor and fights with up to 3 other people as imperial soldiers against chaos and its followers in order to finally gain control of the hive city of Tertium.

Already in the beta Darktide lured 78,000 people into the game. With the release, the number of players rose again significantly.
How do players rate Darktide? The game’s ratings on Steam are mostly positive. Of the total of 25,475 reviews, 73% consist of good ratings from the players (as of December 1st, 2022, via Steam).
