On Monday, June 6, early in the morning, cannon shells fell very close to the FARDC position in Bugusa, in the Jomba groupement, in Rutshuru territory.

For the North Kivu military spokesperson, it is an attack “ M23 terrorists “, yet another attack that comes despite the calls made to this armed group by African and international authorities.

And General Sylvain Ekenge added that this attack curiously coincided with the start, on the same Monday, June 6, in Goma, of the meeting of military officials from the Community of East African States, who came to the chief – place of North Kivu to reflect on the ways and means to secure the region, in other words to eradicate the armed groups.
