We are very close to meeting the iPhone 14. REVISED THE FORECAST
Haitong International analyst Jeff Pu predicted that the storage options of the upcoming iPhone 14 Pro models will start with 128GB of storage. Pu initially admitted that the storage options of the iPhone 14 Pro models would start from 256 GB.
But everything changed in the last research note. Pu added the 128GB option to the feature table it prepared for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Pu now believes the Pro models will come with the same storage capacities as the iPhone 13 Pro models, meaning the phones will have 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage options. But it’s not the storage that bothers many iPhone followers, it’s the price.
NEW IPHONES WILL BE MORE EXPENSIVE
Famous analyst Ming-Chi Kuo recently suggested that there will be a price increase in the iPhone 14 Pro models and that the iPhone 14 Pro models will be more expensive than the iPhone 13 Pro models. Kuo did not reveal the iPhone 14 prices. However, he noted that he predicts the average selling price of the entire iPhone 14 series, including lower-end models, will increase by about 15%.
Let’s do a simple calculation right away. In the US, the iPhone 13 Pro starts at $999, and the iPhone 13 Pro Max starts at $1,099. If Apple decides to increase the price of the Pro models by 10%, the price of the iPhone 14 Pro may start at $1,099 and the iPhone 14 Pro Max from $1,199. Some analysts predict that the starting price of the iPhone 14 will be the same as the iPhone 13.
WHY WILL PRICES INCREASED?
According to rumors, the price increase may be due to a number of factors such as high inflation in the USA, new features to be included in the iPhone 14 Pro models, problems in the supply chain. However, it should be noted that not all of these rumors have been confirmed.
