Manuel Valls arrived in New Caledonia this Saturday, February 22. The Minister of Overseas is for a week in the archipelago shaken in May 2024 by violence which left fourteen dead and billions of euros in damage. Its mission is to reopen the dialogue between separatists and non-independence and to start negotiations. But it was under the hoots that the minister took his first steps in the archipelago.
