Two were killed in separate attacks early Sunday in the Nuseirat refugee camp, located in central Gaza, the nearby Awda Hospital said. A further six people are reported to have been injured.

Israel’s military says it has discovered a Hamas tunnel over a kilometer long in central Gaza. According to the information, it went close to residential buildings, and inside were several rooms and equipment used by combatants for longer stays.
Since the outbreak of war on October 7, more than 41,000 Palestinians have been killed, according to the Hamas-run health ministry. More than half of them are said to be women and children. However, it is not clear how many of them are combatants. Israel, for its part, claims to have killed more than 17,000 combatants, without presenting any evidence.
