Israel has carried out at least three airstrikes against the southern Beirut suburb of al-Dahiya during the day, AP reports.
The attacks were carried out less than an hour after the Israeli military issued an evacuation order.
The order concerned civilians in or near two buildings in the densely populated suburb.
In a post published on X, Israeli military spokesman Avichay Adraee called on affected Lebanese to “urgently” evacuate. The area of al-Dahiya is known as one of the Shia militia Hezbollah’s strongest strongholds.
Meanwhile, four people, including a mayor, are said to have been killed in an Israeli attack on the town of Baaloul in the Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon, reports the state-run Lebanese news agency NNA.
The attack hit a residential building.
The mayor who was killed was active in the nearby town of Sohmor.
On Saturday morning, drones were fired from Lebanon at Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence. A few hours after the attack, the Israeli prime minister claimed that “nothing will deter us”.

An adviser to the suspected leader of the terrorist network al-Qaeda is calling on Hamas to “immediately” release the Israeli hostage held in Gaza.
The statement was made online on Friday by Mustafa Hamid, who is the father-in-law of Saif al-Adel, who is widely believed to lead the network, the US intelligence group Site, which monitors online extremism, said.
Hamid believes that the attention given to bringing home the Israeli hostages – both dead and alive – overshadows the issue of the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.
Over 100 Israeli hostages remain in captivity in Gaza since the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel on October 7 last year. However, it is unclear how many of the hostages are still alive.
A major fight broke out in central Borås on Saturday, writes Borås Newspaper.
According to the police, there were about 40 football supporters who smoked together a couple of hours before the meeting between Elfsborg and Häcken.
Two people had to be turned away from the scene and one has been taken into custody. No one appears to have been physically injured.
A plane that landed at Arlanda on Saturday afternoon reported technical problems.
It is a smaller jet plane that functioned as a medical transport, The plane had indications that it was difficult to control the nose wheel. It was able to land without problems but needs help to be towed from the runway, says Eivind Martinsen at the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority.

A bear attacked people in Edsbyn municipality today.
It was a father and his son who were out hunting moose.
– It’s a guy who has shot a bear in self-defense, says Svenne Götesson, chairman of Ovanåker’s western game conservation area.
According to him, the attack occurred when a dog barked near an ide.
– The bear then came springing from the ide and the dog handler saw that the bear had targeted the child, and just pulled out the gun.
The bear that was shot is dead.
The father and son were not physically injured.

Three cars are involved in a traffic accident in Kumla. According to initial information, ten people should be affected.
The accident has occurred on national highway 52 at the height of Örsta.
The extent of the damage is unclear and the road has been closed.
– It is unclear how the accident happened, but ten people are said to be involved. There are car parts on the road, says Evelina Åström, spokesperson for the police in the Bergslagen region.

The police and emergency services have been alerted to a fire in an apartment building in Södertälje, the police write.
Witnesses state that the stairwell is filled with smoke.
– There is a lot of smoke and the residents of the apartments have gone out onto the balconies, the plan is to evacuate them with the ladder trucks, says the police command center.
Several ambulances and units from the rescue service have been alerted, according to information.
– At the moment, I have no information that there will be anyone injured.
The emergency services state that there is a fire in the apartment building.

Two pedestrians have been hit by a car outside Kungälv, the police write.
The people state that the driver ran a red light.

There is a complete standstill on the E6 at Mellbystrand after two cars were involved in an accident on the E6.

Nine people, several of whom belong to the same family and all know each other, were poisoned by a cake in Karlskrona on Tuesday.
The victims were taken to hospital and a man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of serious assault.
What kind of substance they were poisoned by is not completely clear. But now prosecutor Lena-Marie Bergström confirms the hospital’s diagnosis.
– Preliminary information from the hospital is that they have seen tetrahydrocannabinol, THC, or hashish. That is what they have recorded as a diagnosis in the medical records, she says.
– I have not had time to receive their assessment documents.
Interrogations are to be held with the suspect this afternoon.
The suspect and the plaintiff know each other’s identities, according to the prosecutor.

A drone fired from Lebanon has reportedly struck the Israeli coastal city of Caesarea, which is Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s hometown.
Unverified reports in Saudi and Qatari media claim that the Hezbollah attack targeted Netanyahu’s private residence.
According to the military, one of three drones fired must have hit a building in the city, causing material damage. The other two are said to have been shot down by anti-aircraft.
It is unclear if the building that was hit actually belongs to the prime minister’s residence.

During the morning, the police received an alarm about a serious violent crime in Gävle.
– It is a man who is found injured indoors and taken to hospital by ambulance, says Linda Winge, press spokesperson for the police in the Gävleborg region.
A short time after the alarm came in, a woman was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
According to the police, both the man and the woman know each other. Both are in their 30s.
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance.
– We have had an operation and now we are carrying out various investigative measures, we cordoned off the crime scene and have seized things, knocking on doors, says Linda Winge.
The alarm came in at 07:49.
A man was arrested during the night with a weapon in a pub on Södermalm in Stockholm.
The man was suspected of weapons offenses and illegal threats as he is also suspected of having threatened a woman of the same age.

“The loss of him is obviously painful for the resistance movement,” says the ayatollah in a first statement on his website after Sinwar’s death.
“But it will not perish because of Sinwar becoming a martyr,” he continues.
Khamenei states that “Hamas lives and will continue to do so”.
61-year-old Sinwar, also known as the “Butcher of Khan Yunis”, was killed in an Israeli strike in Tel Sultan in Rafah in southern Gaza on Wednesday.

At 11.20 the bank states that the problem should be solved.
