At least 30 people have been killed in two Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian Authority’s Civil Defense Authority.
Israel’s military announces that an offensive against northern Gaza will continue.
In the one attack, against a house in Jabalia in northern Gaza, “at least 25” people were killed, including 13 children, according to the civil defense. Another five people are said to have been killed in an attack on an area of Gaza City.
The civil defense in Gaza, like all the authorities there, is under the control of the Islamist movement Hamas.
The Wafa news agency, which reports to the Palestinian Authority in the occupied West Bank, reports a higher death toll just from the attack in Jabalia and writes that additional people are missing there.

The police in Skellefteå were contacted during the night to Sunday about someone stealing Christmas lights from a lot, the police write on their website.
An identical Christmas light was found about an hour later at another address.
A person at the address is now suspected of theft.
The Christmas lights have been returned to where they were stolen from.
A sabotage attempt on the railway between Eskilstuna and Strängnäs was carried out in the early hours of the morning. It reports SN.
In a tunnel on the route, there were stones and other debris on the track.
– It seems to be about an idiotic bus line. Those who have been guilty of this have nothing to gain by their action. It only leads to frustration for train travelers and it costs a lot of money, and in the worst case someone can get hurt, says Mats Pettersson, the police’s press officer, to SN.
Trafikverket’s staff removed the debris. At the same time, traffic was stopped for a short period.
There were no injuries in connection with the sabotage attempt.
The police have drawn up a report of attempted sabotage. At the moment, there are no traces of the perpetrators.
During the night, two tombstones have been overturned, lanterns and other grave decorations have been destroyed on several graves in the Old Cemetery in Västervik.
The police have been on site for documentation and a report regarding breach of grave privacy is being drawn up.
There are currently no suspects.
Ten people have been killed by a man who opened fire inside a bar in the Mexican city of Queretaro on Saturday. Another seven people were injured.
One suspect was arrested and the vehicle suspected of being used in the attack was later found abandoned after being set on fire, according to local authorities.
Queretaro is considered one of the safer cities in Mexico. Escalating violence, largely linked to drug trafficking and gangs, has led to more than 450,000 people being murdered in the country since 2006.
Yesterday, a private person found a dead man in a forest grove in the area of Vilsta in Eskilstuna and alerted the police.
According to the police, the man, who is in his 60s, has been dead at the scene for a long time.
He was reported missing earlier this spring.
Relatives have been notified.
Despite the fact that the police do not make any findings at the scene that indicate that a crime has been committed, the incident is classified as murder in order for investigative measures to be taken.
Medical examiners will examine the body to possibly determine a cause of death.

During the night, the Russian air defense shot down 32 Ukrainian drones over four different regions, according to the mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin, according to the Russian news site Tass.
On Telegram, Sobyanin writes about how eight of the drones were heading towards Moscow when they were shot down in the Olomna district.

The Pentagon states that American warplanes have carried out several airstrikes against Houthi targets in Yemen during Saturday evening, reports the AFP news agency.
The attacks have been directed at weapons depots in the capital Sanaa as well as Amran province, which are supposed to belong to the Iran-backed militia.
The Houthis have since last November attacked international ships in the Red Sea to avenge the war in Gaza.
A man in his 50s alerted the police after he was beaten outdoors in the Eneby area of Bålsta.
– There are signs that indicate that he was beaten with a sharp object, says Joar Källman, commanding officer at the police
The alarm came in shortly before midnight on Sunday night. The man was taken to hospital by ambulance.
– He was awake and talkative at first, but gradually got worse. The latest I got is that he is going to have surgery.
The police have cordoned off the site and will carry out a technical investigation.
No one is arrested.

Donald Trump won the state of Arizona by eleven electoral votes. This was determined by the news agency AP during the night towards Sunday. Thus, the 78-year-old has won all of the seven wave master states that were decisive in the election.
Trump won Arizona in 2016 against Hillary Clinton, but lost the state four years later to Joe Biden.
Tonight’s announcement means that AP has now appointed a winner in all 50 states. In total, Trump received 312 electors. Kamala Harris landed at 226. To become president, a minimum of 270 is required.

Neither former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo nor former presidential aspirant Nikki Haley will be part of Donald Trump’s new government.
The president-elect announces this in a post on his platform Truth Social.
“I will not be inviting former ambassador Nikki Haley or former secretary of state Mike Pompeo to the Trump administration,” he writes in the post, adding that he “appreciated” his past cooperation with them.
A car with three people overturned on the road below Södra Berget in Sundsvall shortly after midnight.
One person was taken to hospital, but the police have no information on serious injuries.
All three were out of the car when the police and ambulance arrived.
A serious violent crime occurred just before 8 pm on Öster in Gävle.
The police do not want to give any details about the incident.
– I can’t say anything, says Joar Källman, commander at the police’s regional command center.
During the evening, the police were on site with, among other things, dog patrols.
During the early morning they left the place, but the cordons remain.

Sweden wants to buy military transport planes from Brazil – and Brazil wants to buy more Jas Gripen planes from Sweden.
On Saturday, a declaration of intent was signed in Brazil between the countries’ defense ministers Pål Jonson (M) and José Múcio in Natal. Negotiations are now underway between the parties concerned.
– It is clear that it is about billions of dollars, but I do not want to preempt the upcoming negotiations. Of course, there are still some steps to be taken, but important progress has been made today. There is a broad consensus from the Brazilian side and the Swedish side, says Jonson to TT.
