Israel has again opened fire against the UN force Unifil in Lebanon, reports media referring to the Reuters news agency’s sources.
Two people are said to have been injured in the new attack, which is said to have taken place in roughly the same location as Thursday morning’s attack in Naqoura.
Even in Thursday’s shelling, two people were injured, in that case Indonesian UN soldiers. The incident triggered strong reactions in many parts of the world, including major powers condemning UN personnel being shelled in that way.
