The game was first announced at the Oculus Quest virtual event in 2020. Assassin’s Creed Nexus was leaked in September of last year with unconfirmed details. Later, it was claimed that the official announcement of the game was in June.

Meta Quest showcase, including Assassin’s Creed Nexus, takes place on June 1ti. Under Meta’s VR title, some new games were also shown, with the exception of Assassin’s Creed.
Fortunately, the Ubisoft Forward event date is not far off. Hopefully, it includes a deep and nice review of the gameplay as well as the game’s release date information. Ubisoft seems to have failed to keep the game private. In fact, they must have been so neglected that some describe it as Ubisoft’s worst kept secret.
