New art exhibition in Västerås about royal fashion – gets a visit from the royal couple

Now the Västmanland County Museum is opening an art exhibition about royal masculinity and fashion through the ages. They are also releasing a photo exhibition about King Carl XVI Gustaf’s fashion during his time on the throne.

– Royal fashion today is discreet, elegant and traditional, says Hilma Persson, producer at Västmanland County Museum.

On the occasion of the king celebrating 50 years on the throne, the royal couple will visit Västerås on Thursday. One of the program items is that they should see the photo exhibition at Karlsgatan 2.

The photo exhibition will be open to everyone March 9-12. The art exhibition will be on display until May 21.
