The so-called Western Access has been debated for years. In the end, no contractor was willing to tackle the job for the budgeted 68.3 million euros. The current plan has “proved financially unfeasible”, is now stated in the coalition agreement that forms the basis for the cooperation of D66, GroenLinks, CDA, ChristenUnie and Party for the Animals for the next four years.
