A drone has been observed over Arlanda on Tuesday evening.

– We can confirm that drones have been seen over Arlanda, says Eric Casselbergcivil servant on standby at the Civil Aviation Authority, to TT.

It is the third day in a row that drones have been seen at the airport.

On the night of Monday, several drones were observed at the site, and the following evening at least one more. Both incidents are being investigated as violations of the Protection Act and the Aviation Act.

This is how air traffic from Arlanda is affected

– Right now we have adapted movement patterns, how to take off and land, says Eric Casselberg.

Otherwise, air traffic should not be affected by the incident.

The police cannot confirm that the sighting concerns a drone, but are now working to get more information about the sighting.

– Hopefully there is also some type of documentation that can help us further, says the police spokesperson Daniel Wikdahl.

No one has yet been arrested.
