In Chase (original title: Last Seen Alive), Will Spann (Gerard Butler) drives his wife Lisa (Jaimie Alexander) to her parents’ house where she wants to gain some distance. But on the way there, Lisa suddenly disappears at a gas station. Will desperately looks for her, but he can’t find her and calls the police.
Neither the police nor Lisa’s parents know where Will’s wife has gone. The search for her even goes so far that Will himself becomes a suspect. And so begins a race against time in which Will has to prove his innocence and find his wife again.

Chase was particularly well received at its Netflix premiere in the USA. As Variety writes, have Around a month after its release, 747 million viewers watched the film on Netflix. This placed Chase at number 6 on the “Nielsen Streaming Top 10” list, which is updated weekly.
