CinemaCon is currently taking place in Las Vegas, where the biggest films of the coming months will be presented. After we already updates too long-awaited blockbusters like Dune 2, Barbie and Oppenheimer received, Universal yesterday gave a first glimpse of the upcoming action film The Fall Guy.

The Fall Guy is an adaptation of the ABC series of the same name from the 1980s, which is known in this country under the title Ein Colt for all cases. The film is directed by action expert David Leitch (John Wick, Deadpool 2), who chased Brad Pitt through the bullet train last year. Now he’s taking on Ryan Gosling.

Ryan Gosling is on fire: The Fall Guys will be the first big action highlight of 2024

In The Fall Guy, Gosling takes on the role of a stuntman who has retired. The wild days are over. But then will brought back to the world of film – from his ex (Emily Blunt), who as a director faces a huge problem: the star of her film (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) has disappeared.

The Fall Guy is currently in post-production. Nevertheless, the first moving pictures were already shown at the CinemaCon – and they should be something special. Slasfilm features outrageous slow-motion stunts, explosions en masse and a Ryan Gosling, who is on fire. That definitely sounds promising.

When is The Fall Guy starring Ryan Gosling in cinemas?

We’ll have to wait a bit longer until we see this action spectacle on the big screen. The Fall Guy doesn’t start until February 29, 2024 in German cinemas. Joining Gosling, Blunt and Taylor-Johnson are Winston Duke, Stephanie Hsu and Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham.
