While it was reported that the scammers gave the farm workers 400 rupees (approximately 88 TL) per game and dressed them like real cricketers, it was stated that they arrested a person to imitate the voice of famous cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle to make the fake league believable.
THE FANS HAVE DOWNLOADED THE SOUNDS ON THE INTERNET
It was stated in the fake league broadcast that the wide-angle images of the field were never included during the match, and the crowd fan voices were downloaded from the internet and broadcast with the help of loudspeakers.
FAKE LEAGUE FEAST AT THE QUARTER FINALS
While 4 people were detained by the police in connection with the fake league, which was raided during the “quarter-finals” stage, it was reported that the fraudsters took bets from many people from Russia via Telegram. The police announced that the fraudsters made 300 thousand rupees (approximately 66 thousand TL) with the fake league.
