Never do this at the checkout counter at a gas

Everyone has visited a gas station at some point, either to fill up, buy a sausage with bread, wash their car or rent a car.

The cashier staff at OKQ8 hates you doing that

Working at a gas station requires a lot of responsibility, late nights and a lot of physical work cleaning cars, cooking and cleaning. The job means that you must be service-oriented, be able to have many balls in the air and at the same time be familiar with cars.

News24 have spoken to an employee at an OKQ8 deli in Central Sweden about things customers often do at the register at the deli, which the staff do not appreciate.

Cannot be held responsible for increased petrol prices

One of the staff’s biggest annoyances, which customers often do at checkout, is blaming the staff for things they can’t afford.

The staff at the petrol station, for example, cannot be held responsible for increased petrol prices, because they do not control the pricing, says the OKQ8 employee.

– The worst thing you can do is come into the store and treat the person behind the cash register badly, because of a problem we cannot control. For example, if “95” has gone up in price or if the rental car they booked is hot because it was parked in the sun.

“Takes an unreasonable amount of time”

Another thing that the staff does not appreciate customers doing is if they break the rules and keep animals loose in the rental cars. Dogs and cats must always be kept in cages or in the car’s combi compartment, the petrol station writes on its website.

– We in the staff clean the rental cars and fur takes an unreasonably long time to vacuum, says the OKQ8 employee to Nyheter24.
