A major network disruption has affected the entire Sörmland region. There is also an extensive data outage in the Västra Götaland region.
“Hospitals, health centers and public dental care are affected. Some businesses have limited capacity due to the error, and booked visits may be cancelled,” writes the Sörmland region on its website.
Troubleshooting is ongoing, according to the region.
“There are major network problems throughout the county. The care workers cannot access the system, but the telephone works without problems. We have a meeting about this right now,” writes the region’s press officer Fredrik Gustavsson in an email to Eskilstuna-Kuriren.
The Västra Götaland region was also hit by a major data outage on Tuesday morning.
– There is a major data outage against private healthcare providers in the whole of Västra Götaland, who have the region’s record system Asynja, says Per Svensson, director of operations at Herkules care center in Borås, to Borås Tidning.
