Since 2015, Adam Sandler has been a regular on Netflix with big projects ranging from The Ridiculous 6 to Sandy Wexler to Hubie Halloween. A second part of his crime comedy Murder Mystery even appeared on the streaming service at the beginning of the year. Success is all on his side.
The reviews are different. Sandler’s films are often torn up. However, he hit the bull’s eye with his most recent work: You’re So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah is his best film according to review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes. 95 percent positive reviews was able to pull in the coming-of-age comedy.
The critics agree: Netflix now has the best Adam Sandler film
so far have it only three Sandler films passed the 90 percent hurdle: The Black Diamond (91 percent), The Meyerowitz Stories (92 percent) and Hustle (93 percent). You’re so not invited to my bat mitzvah can outperform its predecessors by a whopping two percentage points.

The film adaptation of the young adult book of the same name written by Amanda Stern tells of the twelve-year-old Stacey Friedman (played by Sandler’s own daughter, Sunny Sandler) who is preparing for her Bat Mitzvah with her best friend. But then the normal madness of a teenager’s life hits her.
What follows is a colorful feel-good film that comes up with lovable characters and a touching story. Netflix has you’re so not invited to my bat mitzvah right on #1 in the streaming charts done. The film was directed by Sammi Cohen, who has already delivered a very great coming-of-age film with Crush (released exclusively on Disney+ in this country).
