Fantasy fans have been waiting for this for decades, and now the time has come. Netflix is ​​adapting the Sandman comics penned by Neil Gaiman (Good Omens) as a series. Many may have noticed an overlap in the first trailer for The Sandman. With the Amazon hit Lucifer the upcoming highlight shares the figure of the ruler of hell. And there is far more to it than the serial popularity of a religious character.

In fact, the Beelzebub character from the Amazon series (which was also produced by Netflix) is based on Gaiman’s comic book series.
