On Squid game is reliable. The second season has just started on Netflix and no other series has a chance to secure the top position among the series.

Squid Game is back at the top of Netflix

When it was released in 2021, the Squid Game series took a little longer to conquer the series top 10 because word of the Korean hit had to get around. Today, the entire Netflix audience should know what the squid game is all about, and so season 2 exploded just one day after its release on December 26, 2024 Number 1 of the currently most watched series of the streamer.

You can read elsewhere how good season 2 of Squid Game is. In the new season of deadly games Gi-hun (Jung-Jae Lee) returns to the arenabut only after three years have passed since his own win. He wants to finally stop the cruel show that turns children’s games into traps for enormous prize money. In addition, police officer Jun-ho (Wi Ha-Joon) is again searching for the island where the Squid Game is taking place.

Anyone who has already watched all 7 episodes of the 2nd season of Squid Game and was surprised by the cliffhanger can at least be certain of one thing: Squid Game Season 3 is coming in 2025 and will then finally conclude the series.
