Netflix recently released Sandman with 10 episodes. To the delight of the fans. But apparently there was at least one bonus episode that some of the audience got to see before the start. A reaction video had to be deleted because of this. But pictures of it are available.

Netflix has Sandman video deleted, but pictures are still there

This emerges, among other things, from an article on the fans page winteriscoming.net, according to which giant cats probably play with people in the bonus episode. Also featured was part of the Sandman short story Calliope, in which Dream (Tom Sturridge) meets his “ex-girlfriend” Calliope (Melissanthi Mahut). A fan shared images from the additional footage (with Netflix approval) on Twitter.

As per the article, the additional footage was discussed and aired in an episode of I Like to Watch on YouTube. After the streaming service noticed the faux pas, the video was removed.

When could the Sandman bonus episode come to Netflix?

How the error happened is not entirely clear. However, Sandman fans can hope to see the bonus episode soon. We think Netflix might release them at the Tudum event in September.
