Since last weekend, Netflix has had the brand new anime series Sakamoto Days on offer. This is an adaptation of the Killer Dad manga of the same name by Yuto Suzuki, which has been running since 2020 and already includes 20 anthologies.
The manga author used American action films such as John Wick and The Equalizer as a model, as his publisher revealed in MANGA Plus magazine.

Years later, the two have a daughter and live a quiet life in the small town, which Taro has made comfortable. But then figures from his past track down the family and seek revenge. So time for the ex-hitman to reactivate his old skills.
