As part of the annual preview for 2024, Netflix showed a small first excerpt from the 2nd season of the South Korean hit series Squid Game, which is finally being continued after 3 years.
Squid Game was the absolute series hit when it was released in September 2021. Hwang Dong-hyuk’s South Korean drama and thriller series captivated Netflix viewers with its deadly games.
A few days ago it was announced in an announcement to shareholders that the second season would be released this year.
Netflix has now published a preview of this year’s upcoming series and films on YouTube – we can also see a small excerpt from Squid Game here.
You can see Netflix’s annual outlook for 2024 for yourself here:
What do you see in the excerpt? In the short clip you can see Seong Gi-hun, the main character of the first season, at the airport while Squid Game’s typical music can be heard in the background.
His cell phone rings. After he answers, he is threatened that he will regret his decision. Seong Gi-hun then responds with anger: “I will find you. No matter what it costs.“
