Looking at Fincher’s projects the cooperation would not be improbable. He was already involved in a management position with the Netflix series House of Cards and Mindhunter, and his last film Mank was also released via the streamer. The same goes for his upcoming thriller The Killer.

When is Squid Game Season 2 and the US remake coming to Netflix?

The second season of Squid Game is scheduled to start filming in 2023 and could early 2024 start. Should the US remake actually come, we could imagine a release date in early 2025.
