The frustration sounds a little more orderly as follows:

Disappointed, but not surprised. Netflix dropped The Recruit after two seasons, and frankly, that hurts. The series had so much potential, but here we are again – another great series is canceled prematurely. Should we still bind ourselves to Netflix series at this point?

There is even a guess why The Recruit was discontinued:

The discontinuation of The Recruit is an absolute crime. The Night Agent and The Recruit were two top series, and you published them at a distance of one week … The number of spectators goes to your account. We tried to see both as soon as possible.

It is officially not confirmed whether the timely publication of The Night Agent and The Recruit was actually decisive for the fact that second -mentioned series could not earn any strong numbers. For many fans, however, the publication strategy seems to be the main culprit for the discontinuation of The Recruit.

Is there really no hope? A look into the past shows that some fan campaigns Netflix could encourage a rethink. Series creator Alexi Hawley has even let through that he could imagine a final film for The Recruit. But so far this is only wishful thinking.
