The Sandman season 2 confirmed by Neil Gaiman

Author Neil Gaiman’s critically acclaimed comic took years to hit the screen, and while it was a hit when it premiered in August, it took time for Netflix to approve a second season of The Sandman. It was extremely interesting that the series, which was watched for approximately 70 million hours in its first week, has not received the approval of the second season so far. However, Gaiman made a statement on Twitter, stating that he would continue even though he did not fully confirm the 2nd season.

According to the statement from Netflix, new episodes of the series will deal with the conflict between Morpheus and Lucifer and continue to reveal the many challenges facing the universe after Morpheus’s century-long absence. We will meet the rest of Dream’s family (The Endless) in new episodes.

Gaiman revealed The Sandman comics. After unsuccessful attempts for a movie, the 10-episode Netflix series began airing on August 3. After the season 1 finale, an extra 11th episode was released, adding a standalone story from the original comics.
