Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the Lebanese people with a video message. Netanyahu claimed that Hashim Safiyuddin, who was Hezbollah’s Deputy Secretary General and considered the successor of Hassan Nasrallah, and Safiyuddin’s replacement were killed in Israel’s attack on Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, on October 3.

Netanyahu, who did not share the name of the person who will replace Safiyuddin, said, “Today, Hezbollah is weaker than it has been in many years,” and called on the Lebanese people to take the country back from Hezbollah’s control. “Now you, the Lebanese people, stand at an important crossroads,” Netanyahu said. It’s your choice. Now you can take your country back. “You can return it to the path of peace and prosperity,” he said.
Netanyahu: “Save your country from Hezbollah so that this war will end. “Liberate your country from Hezbollah so that your country can prosper again, so that future generations of Lebanese and Israeli children will know neither war nor bloodshed, but will finally live together in peace,” he said.
