Earlier this week, Netanyahu complained in a video message that the United States is withholding important arms and ammunition supplies to Israel.
Spokesman for the US National Security Council John Kirby commented to reporters on Netanyahu’s video, saying that Americans do not understand what deliveries Netanyahu is referring to.
– (Netanyahu’s) comments are deeply disappointing and indeed upsetting, considering the amount of support we have provided so far and will continue to provide, Kirby continued.
However, Netanyahu will not give up. On Thursday, the prime minister repeated his message, saying that Israel needs ammunition from the United States for the country’s “war that will decide its existence.”
– I am ready to suffer personal attacks so that Israel gets the ammunition it needs from the United States for the war that will decide its existence, Netanyahu declared.
