It was at the beginning of the summer that the municipality decided to remove seven dry toilets from the municipality’s coast. The decision sparked an e-proposal that was supported by 700 names, but it was still a negative decision in the Culture, Leisure and Technology Committee.
– In accordance with our new guidelines and budget decisions, we will not put back the closed toilets and garbage cans. It is also part of our endeavor to ensure that our resources are used effectively, says Rebecka Kristensson (S), chairman of the board in a press release.
Falkenberg’s municipality believes that they will continue to monitor and evaluate the use of the bathing area to guarantee the level of service that exists in accordance with existing guidelines.
