38 people were killed in a traffic accident in southeastern Mexico last Saturday, says the prosecutor investigating the case.
The incident occurred in the state of Campeche when a truck drove frontal collided by a bus. The two vehicles in connection with the incident fire.
Nine people survived the accident. Mexico has seen an increasing number of traffic accidents in recent years as a result of substandard vehicle maintenance as well as careless and prepared drivers.
