NCIS star wants an extremely spectacular death for his character

NCIS star Wilmer Valderrama wants a heroic-tragic ending for his character

Valderrama told TV Insider that he wants a spectacular, heroic death for Nick Torres. He compares his character’s ideal exit to Denzel Washington’s fate in Training Day:

I think, since I’m not a bad guy, of course I’d like to die as a good guy. Somehow, while I’m defending my family, in a storm of bullets. I just see a hail of bullets sweeping over me, while I die heroically, with violins in the backgroundand it’s raining heavily.

In Training Day, Washington plays a corrupt cop who is eventually intercepted and shot by a Russian mafia hit squad. The rather over-stylized scene is probably the perfect opportunity for the NCIS actor if his character is about to die in the series. It is not yet known whether the NCIS officials will allow him this kind of exit.
