Since 2003, Sean Murray has been starring in the crime hit NCIS as Special Agent Timothy McGee to be seen. The starring role not only brought him great public fame, but also left him physically scarred – perhaps even for life. He has now spoken in more detail about an accident on set that had serious consequences.

As Screen Rant reports, the McGee actor recently appeared on the Spotify podcast Off Duty: An NCIS Rewatch with series co-stars Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo, where he talked about a day of filming a Season 2 scene in which McGee runs through a laundromat.
Murray says that on set fell and fell on his hand what he feels in his right thumb to this day:
I remember walking through this car wash, which I did many times and it was a real car wash. I remember making a sharp right turn…I made a sharp right turn and my dress shoes came right out from under me because I was sprinting. I fell on my right hand and like a lot of us actors, we just keep jumping and don’t realize what we’re doing until afterward. To this day, I have very limited mobility in my right thumb.
