It was also announced that the legendary basketball player Michael Jordan will decorate the cover of two special editions of the game, which was announced to be released on September 9. Players will be able to recreate 15 iconic moments in the legendary player’s career in The Jordan Challenge mode in NBA 2K23, where Michael Jordan adorned the cover. Drawing on more than a decade of technological advances, these ‘challenges’ open up a new way to relive Jordan’s achievements.
The Jordan Challenge also gives you the chance to experience the legendary player’s 15 different experiences in his career in college, NBA and USA National Basketball Team, accompanied by special comments and videos from Jordan’s teammates, rivals and prominent names of the sport. Michael Jordan, one of the most successful names in NBA and NBA 2K history, will be on the cover of NBA 2K for the fourth time with NBA 2K23 Michael Jordan Edition and NBA 2K23 Championship Edition. Jordan previously appeared on the cover of NBA 2K11, NBA 2K12 and NBA 2K16 Speical Edition. More information on the covers will also be announced on July 7, when pre-order opens.
