The NBA season is underway and Golden State star Stephen Curry injured his ankle on Sunday October 27.
After a first year as a rookie in the NBA, Victor Wembanyama is expected to confirm all the hopes placed in him and above all bring the Spurs closer to the play-offs. This is also the stated objective for the Frenchman, vice-Olympic champion this summer in Paris. “The goal is to reach the play-in or play-offs.” To achieve this, the Spurs recruited a very strong element with leader and NBA legend, Chris Paul. “JI remember watching Chris on TV when I was little. He’s only been here a week, but we’re already learning a lot just by watching him. I’m very excited to play with him.”
In the NBA, Wemby will not be the only Frenchman involved because non-purists may have forgotten him, the numbers 1 and 2 from the last draft are French and are eagerly awaited. Zacharie Risacher, number 1, will be associated with the Hawks with one of the best leaders in the American League, Trae Young. Number 2 in the draft, Alexandre Sarr will also be eagerly awaited on the Washington side with a certain Bilal Coulibaly in a real “French connection” which promises. In this new NBA season, we will obviously follow Nicolas Batum, Rudy Gobert or Guershon Yabusele, who took advantage of his excellent Olympics to offer himself a new dream with the Sixers.
