After six weeks of consultations with 40 health players, the leader in France in making medical appointments has decided to clean up. He now wants to refocus exclusively on caregivers “referenced by the authorities”. A decision supported by the College of Physicians.
Practitioners have a period of “six months to find another solution”
After the lively controversy over naturopathic scammers referenced by Doctolib (including Thierry Casasnovas and Irène Grosjean, two influential personalities in the naturopathic world), Stanislas Niox-Chateau, CEO and co-founder of Doctolib, decided to strike hard.
“It is a decision which is strong and which was not easy: we are going to refocus on the regulated professions. So only professionals who have an ADELI or RPPS number, which are referenced by the health authorities, will be able to use the services of Doctolib“, he thus entrusted to the “World”.

Result: nearly 5,700 practitioners – representing 3% of those registered on the platform (magnetizers, iridologists, personal development coaches, sophrologists, naturopaths, homeopaths, etc.) will have to pack their bags within the next six months.
Concretely, they will no longer be able to benefit from the services of Doctolib and have a period of six months to reorganize their management of appointments.

With this decision, the group gives up a few million euros in income – at the rate of 139 euros per professional and per month – because “it is this trust that will make the difference in the long run“, assures the CEO of Doctolib.
