NATO warns: Europe produces far too little ammunition

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

On Wednesday, the NATO defense ministers’ meeting continues in Brussels. However, Sweden and Finland’s attempts to become members of the alliance and Turkey’s resistance are not at the top of the agenda.

The focus is on the lack of ammunition production in Europe.

– Yesterday, Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that Ukraine uses more ammunition than the entire Western world can produce, says foreign reporter Jona Källgren.

The USA has recently made large investments to increase production, something that has not yet been done in Europe.

– It is above all larger ammunition, artillery ammunition, which is a big problem. This is ammunition that is very complicated to manufacture, says Jona Källgren.
