NATO protests outside F 21: “Doesn’t give us peace”

The protracted process for Sweden’s entry into NATO is nearing its end. Congratulations have come from various leaders to Sweden.

Outside F21 in Luleå, people had gathered who were not as positive about the news.

  • – We do not believe that weapons and military alliances will give us the sustainable peace that we want, says Joshua Armfield, a member of the Christian Peace Movement.

    Cooperation, yes – NATO, no

Joshua Armfield wants to see other solutions and believes that military rearmament is never the answer.

    – Cooperation between countries is very positive, but not with a nuclear alliance. I don’t see anything positive about that, he says.

Hear Joshua Armfield explain why he objects to NATO entry.
