The new prime minister of Sweden traditionally makes a visit to Finland right away
Sweden’s new Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson is visiting Finland today. During the visit, he will meet Prime Minister Sanna Marin and President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö.
The prime ministers of both Sweden and Finland traditionally visit the neighboring country soon after starting their duties. At the beginning of his season, Marinkin made his first visit abroad to Sweden.
In addition to bilateral relations, Marin and Kristersson discuss Finland’s and Sweden’s future NATO membership, Russia’s war of aggression and support for Ukraine.
