Nathan, 10, wanted to pay 62-year-old Carol’s electricity: “Was worried”

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

10-year-old Nathan Kalagborg happened to see a news report on television about 62-year-old Carol Morrison, where she told us that she cannot afford heat in her home and therefore spends her days in the municipality’s library to avoid freezing.

The TV feature made the boy very worried. Nathan Kalagborg wanted to help her in some way and couldn’t sleep, until he figured out that he could give her his weekly allowance.

“You’ve Touched Me”

– I was worried about you. I wanted to give you money so you don’t freeze and so you can be warm at home, says Nathan when he and Carol are spoken to on Facetime.

– You have really touched me, says Carol but does not want to hear about receiving his money. You have already helped me, on an emotional level. It feels like I have an adopted son.
