To salute her career, supermodel Naomi Campbell is preparing to be celebrated through a retrospective event. On the program, clothes from his personal collection and the archives of the greatest designers.

She has left her mark on generations of fashion fans. As she prepares to celebrate her 40th career, Naomi Campbell will be the subject of an exhibition organized by the Victoria and Albert Museum in South Kensington, London. Titled Naomi: In Fashionthe retrospective will retrace the life of the English top model through iconic pieces of her wardrobe and archive loans from creators. Several of his personal accessories will also be presented. Sponsored by the brand Boss, the exhibition will, for example, reveal a gray monochrome look from the fall-winter 2023-2024 collection. The 90s icon wore it for the campaign #BeYourOwnBOSS. The exhibition, organized in chronological order of the events that marked Naomi Campbell’s career, will be held from June 22, 2024 to April 6, 2025.

The one who took her first steps in front of the camera in a music video for singer Bob Marley at the age of 8, left her mark on 90s fashion alongside supermodels Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer and Tatjana Patitz. In December 1987, she was the second black model to make the cover of the British edition of the magazine Vogue. A few months later, in August 1988, she became the first black model to pose on the cover of Vogue Paris. During her career, the supermodel has worked with Versace, Alaïa Schiaparelli, Louis Vuitton or Vivienne Westwood. At the start of 2024, she was still invited on the catwalks of luxury brands. She notably walked the runway for Dolce & Gabbana during fall-winter 2024-2025 fashion week in Milan.
